An Ordinary Day...

Jake and I had a really lovely dinner with our family last night.  Rose and Gareth were there too and it was fabulous to catch up with everyone properly.  We had lasagna, with salad and warm, fresh bread, pudding and of course a glass of wine.  A family dinner just wouldn't be complete without a glass of wine!! It was all so, so good.  The only thing that could've made it better would've been to have had our whole family there.  Jake & I need to spend more time with family and I think last night was good for all of us.  Jake is a very loved little boy!

We were home just on 7 and Jake was asleep a little after.  Danie had other plans for the evening, so I didn't get to see him, but managed to catch up on some TV viewing and was in bed by 8:30 with my new book for company.  I'm busy reading The Other Hand by Chris Cleave - it's brilliant if you're looking for something really inspiring to read.  Unfortunately, I was still pacing the halls at 2:30 this morning and I'm feeling a bit grumpy today through lack of sleep.  Hopefully I can bribe Jake into keeping himself busy this afternoon so I can catch 40.

Anyway, every one's been very quiet, I hope that it means you're all keeping busy and enjoying the spring sunshine.

Sending lots of love,
Sue X
