Make a difference...

In the middle of all my holiday pictures, I feel I need to quickly put this post in. Click here and make a difference in a child's life. Christmas is just around the corner and, while we have so much, there are so many who have nothing. The drop off in Cape Town is in Kloof Street on 20 & 21 October (yes, I know it's soon) and, if you can get your boxes to me by the 18th, I'll make sure they're delivered.

Also, just a quick update. I've given my tenant notice and he's due to move out at the end of November. I am very excited and can't wait to get going. There are quite a few changes that need to be made to the house and he's happy for me to start building and getting quotes while he's still living there. I'm just waiting for my building plans, so that I can get them approved. And, I've ordered my couch (YAYAYAYAY). So, I might be in by Christmas!! Can't wait. Jake's also very excited.

Take care, more pictures to follow soon!

Love me xxx

How exciting for you ( and how brave, I might add) to be moving into your own home. But I've always said that the time is right when the time is right. Your photos are great but I must admit I have a phobia about elephants especially when you can gaze right up their trunks. I felt quite ill looking at your pics of them.

What wonderful news!
I'm very happy for you being ready to make this move.
Is the house very far from where you live now?
Best of luck...

Thanks for your comments. The thought of being on my own, especially in this country is scary, but I can't wait. Our house is really close to where we're living with my folks at the moment, literally one street away. There's a bit of work that needs doing, but it'll all happen with time, for now, I just need to get in and see how it fits.

PS... sorry about all the elephant photos, I think they're such beautiful, strong yet gentle creatures. I think I've posted most of them now!
