We finished dinner pretty early last night, so I took Jake through to Sea Point for an ice-cream and to watch the sunset. It was the perfect, calm winter's evening and we only got cold once the sun went down. We've always been huge "San Marco" ice-cream fans, but over the last few years they've chopped and changed owners and I was really disappointed last night to see that they didn't have any honey hazelnut or chocolate ice-cream. San Marco still exists in the V & A Waterfront, but nothing beats an ice-cream on the beachfront! XXX PS. I have a secret

What is this "PS I have a secret'? You can't keep us hanging like that!! Do tell...

Lovely photos and I used to also love the honey and hazelnut ice-cream from San Marco, so I too would be upset. And how can they not have chocolate for goodness sake?

Hmmmmmm how can you leave us in suspense like this!???

I used to love San Marco ice cream too, especially from Sea Point. The last time I went there was with Caroline and Craig, I still remember the music playing in the car.

Jeeeeees I miss Cape Town. I just wish we could buy a house so I could book a flight!! Maybe next year, or the next, and I will definitely be taking Bayden for ice cream there...

Wonderful photos!
Enjoying ice cream in winter qualifies you as an honorary New Englander!
I too am very curious about that secret! Perhaps even more so because "anonymous" already knows what it is!
Hope it's a very happy secret!!!

We used to go to Sea Point for ice-creams too. Don't think it was San Marco though, maybe Milky Lane by the swimming pools. They were great.Always had some kind of Toffee Dip I think.
Anyway great pics, can't wait to be there. I'm sure we can meet as we will be there for 6 weeks.
