A weekend with my new toy...

I am in LOVE!!! Attaching a whole bunch of photos, because I can't pick which ones I like best. Jake's been a very unobliging subject though, so not too many good ones of him. At the moment, he runs in the opposite direction everytime he sees the camera, or rolls his eyes back when I ask him to smile. It's not funny. We spent most of the weekend relaxing at home, it was too hot to do much else. We did make a trip out to Butterfly world yesterday though, which Jake loved and it gave me the perfect opportunity to try out my new macro lens. Yip, I couldn't stop at just having a brand new camera, on Saturday morning I went out and bought the lens I've been fantasising over for years. My camera is now way beyond me and I have SO much to learn. Anyway, I love it too much and just want to know more. This has been one investment I will not regret. Ever.
