The next birthday was Bi & I... That was on Sunday. Bi turned 4 and I celebrated my 27th (again). Jo threw a beautiful morning tea for us and the whole family joined again - so great to be showered with love by those who love us most...
A massively exciting gift for me was that Rylee's started walking! He's been standing forever and he can walk beautifully holding onto your hand, but just hasn't wanted to let go and do it on his own, but look how confident he looks doing it now. Yes... for a treat...
And look how proud he is of himself when we all cheer...
The little birthday girl had a ball. She had her "Frozen" dress on, with the theme music going, much to Jake's horror. And she loved her teatime treats...
Us birthday girls - I love sharing my birthday with Jake and Bi... makes it so festive and special. And it was really nice to have everything happen together on the weekend too - will be another 7 years before that happens again Jake will be 18!!! Ugh...
Bi with her proud daddy...
And all the boys...
Getting ready to blow out her candles, while we all sing to her...
A big huff and a puff...
Just one left...
BLOW...
It was pre-decided that Bi would be sung to first and me second. I was lucky to share her yummy red velvet cake... Oh and look at Jake with my new polaroid camera...
It was also pre-decided that Bi would help me blow my candles out too. 2 for her, 2 for me...
Our little princess playing with her new Peppa Pig house, with her new make up from Nini on...
Rylee wanted to get in on the action and he wanted that box. This is Bi telling him, very nicely, that he's not allowed to...
And Rylee not listening...
And that's it. The birthday madness is over for a while. Breathe. Marius spoiled me rotten - he's taking me away to Mount Ceder for the weekend. Much to Jake's disgust, we have both taken the day off tomorrow, so that we can get out of town nice and early. We also heard yesterday that our room (cottage) has been upgraded and we're now in their flagship unit. And he organised the polaroid camera with film for me too, which I am thrilled with!
Jake will be spending the weekend between his two sets of Grandparents, so please don't feel too sorry for him - he's going to be spoiled rotten! He's got lots of homework to do and he has a fabulous new table to play with, so he will not be bored for a moment. Actually, I'm pretty sure he's looking forward to not hearing me telling him to turn it off. I will miss him. I hate being apart, but I am also looking forward to my time with Marius and not having to be in charge for a few moments. Jake will forgive me.
Sending lots of love.
Have a lovely weekend!

Isn't it so special to be spoiled by loved ones. And I have to say my favourite pictures of the lot - Rylee and Bi - and Rylee not listening- typical. Love it
