It seems as though the warmer weather of summer has finally arrived.  It's set to be a whopping 34 degrees today!!  I just love the longer days and the gorgeous evenings we're blessed with at this time of year.

On Sunday night, Corky and Bianca came to stay for the night.  Jake and Corky are really difficult together at the moment, but they were both in great moods after their Macaroni Cheese supper.  It was actually pleasant to have them together for a change!  And of course, Little Bi wouldn't miss out on any of the action...
Jake being silly for the camera...
So, while Jake's pulling silly faces, Corky's decided to do the same.  Closed eyes for the camera...
Bi really loves getting dirty and she really, really enjoyed getting both her ice-cream and herself filthy dirty...
But she was happy and that's all that counts when you're 1 1/2...
Home girl.  Her mommy puts pretty brookies on her, to hide the ugly nappy...
When there's something else to look at, you just put your ice lolly on the ground and check it out...

Then you can pick your lolly up again...
And carry on eating it...  Tastes nice with a bit of dirt on it, you should try it sometime...
Meanwhile Nini managed to get half a cuddle from Corks...
Mmmm... I wonder where I left my lolly...
Ahh - here it is! I'll just pick it up again...
But uh-oh... this time Bi notices that it's a little grubby and she's not very happy about it...
Nini made it better by giving up her own lolly...
Connor's very into Spiderman at the moment, much to my sister's disgust.  He's super cool in his Spidey Specs though...
Duracell's quite happy when the kids are eating ice-creams.  There are always blobs all over for him to lick up.  Duracell was NOT popular this weekend.  He caught a tiny kitten (it has been confirmed as a stray) in the garden and killed it on Saturday morning.  I'd heard the kitty and checked to see if it was in the garden, but he must've been hiding really well from me, because I couldn't find it anywhere.  There's a big open nature reserve-type field behind my parent's house, so I guessed that the cats were there.  Anyway, I saw the whole thing happen and I was devastated that I couldn't do anything to stop it happening.  It was so fast and I am still revolted by it.  All that said, it is in Duracell's blood to hunt and if it had been a snake or a rat, I'd have been really pleased with him.  He didn't know better...
 Bi, ready for her bath...
In amongst the kids, these flowers were too pretty not to photograph...
There are dark purple ones in between too.  I don't know what these flowers are called - anyone else know??
 Pretty with the new paving...
Hoping to climb the pomegranate tree with Jake...
Jake in his jammies the tree.  He used to climb this tree all the time, from when he was about Bi's age.  He's getting too big for the tree now and really has to squash his way into the branches...
Sometimes Jake does let me take one or two nice photos of him, but I really have to beg these days.  I've even resorted to paying him with sweets...
Hi handsome man, I love you...
And that's it.  All up-to-date!  Need to take more photos, so that I can post again soon!

Love,
Sue XXX

These pics just reminded me that i better de-worm my daughter. And just a side note - Paul dressed Connor this day (socks and takkies) and his daddy also bought him the sunglasses ;-)

Corky looks cute; you have to wear socks with takkies, otherwise your feet (and shoes) get smelly. De-worming is on our list of holiday treats too...
