All in the pink...

Little Bianca is 1 today! She had the most gorgeous pink party on Saturday past and took on her roll as fairy princess perfectly!  This is her with her handsome daddy greeting us as we arrived.

She was excited to see me, of course...

 I think Bianca's mommy enjoyed Bianca's party more than Bianca did!  She definitely had fun doing the pink decor after all the trains and blue things that Corky wants for his birthday every year...

 Swapping a Thomas jumping castle for a horse and carriage makes a lovely change.  Hi Rosie...

 Seriously?  Is there anything cuter?  Frills and toddling, I can't cope...

 Bianca loved all the attention she was showered with on her special day, especially when we all sang happy birthday to her, she giggled and smiled the whole way through it...

Then came the serious work of face-stuffing.  I reckon Bi is a party girl...

 Corky was there too, but he's not to interested in my camera these days.  Cheese...

 This is one of my favourite pictures of Bianca to date.  How I wish I had photoshop.  Look at those beautiful eyes.  She is just too sweet for words...

 But the food was way more exciting than Auntie Sue pulling funny faces and making squawking noises at her...

 She was the last girl standing.  Till she fell off her chair and was very sad for a while...

 She wasn't too keen on the photo thingy (what do you call these jobs?).  This was the closest we could get to her looking through.  Pretty as a "Belle" - hahaha...

 My boy.  And boy was he SUPER grumpy and not too impressed with all the little kids he had to play with.  He brightened up towards the end of the party...

So, today, I share my birthday with a very special little girl!  It seems crazy to think that she's been a part of our family for a whole year.  The time has just flown by, but it's been so special to see her grow and learn and turn into such a lovely little girl.  She's such a happy little girl and its wonderful to be able to experience having a princess in the family.  With Jo for a mom, she has no choice but to be a girly girl and she really loves her babies, cuddling and kissing them is too sweet to see.  She's quite and gentle and is really a pleasure to be with, we are so blessed!  She has quietly (mostly) crept into our hearts and we are all besotted and totally in love with our little fairy!
