As usual, Jo put out a beautiful spread of quiches, salads and these beautiful pink cupcakes and meringues. The little rice paper hearts had her name and birthdate written on them, too sweet...
She looks so much like Jo. Connor looks more like his dad, but when you put a pic of Bianca next to one of Connor at the same age, you can barely tell them apart. Funny how genetics work...
Connor paid no particular attention to the solemness of the ceremony and ran around making a noise and showing us his books. He's very into Thomas the Tank Engine at the moment. It's so cute how he knows all the characters' names. He has assigned names to every member of the family - My mom is Thomas, my dad is Percy, I'm Duck, Jake's Duncan, Bianca's Emily and Connor himself is his favourite character, Gordon. Paul was very put out that he was to be named after Neville, a character who hardly features in the stories...
Jo and Paul making their promises for Bianca...
The blessing...
I loved the way the early morning sunshine caught the gown...
Proud parents. We couldn't pin Connor down for a proper family photo. Next time???
Bianca was hungry, so mom gave her a bottle, while Jo and Paul got the champagne poured...
The rest of the outfit. Can you believe someone actually spent hours and hours knitting this...
Which meant that Jake could enjoy a few extra moments with his newest cousin...
He was very concerned when she had a coughing fit in his arms...
3 Generations...
Showing off her under things. Bianca started howling after this and was soon out of her princess dress and in her cot for a nap...
It is always special to be able to share in moments like these and we look forward to watching Bianca grow and learn over the years! Just, please, please don't grow up as fast as your cousin and big brother!!Love,
Sue XXX

What lovely pics :-)
You're right, Bianca is the image of her momma - as delicate, pretty and petite as she is!
Gorgeous!
Bianca is beautiful!
Actually you and the whole family should be on the cover of a magazine!
I love the way your family comes together for all sorts of celebrations - big and small.
Thanks for all the photographs and letting us join in the celebration.
