Tomatoes...

This is the last one, I promise. Just some photos of Jake enjoying his veggie garden. He picked his first tomato yesterday and was too excited to wait for it to ripen fully on the shelf before eating it. His strawberry plants seem to be finished bearing berries for now, but his beans have got flowers on and everything else seems to be growing really well. We found a watermelon seedling growing in the garden, so have potted that too. He's still loving every moment of it and can't wait to get digging and scratching when I get home from work. Anyway, with the price of tomatoes as they are at the moment, I think we're all looking forward to Jake's juicy, home-grown ones. Just a few more photos...

Hi,
I have said it before but I really think it is such a great idea having a veg garden for Jake! Really cute photos and I look forward to hearing more about it. When he is older he can branch out into herbs!

I think that this is such a wonderful idea and he has done so well man! It's so great that you are giving him such an all-round education in life and exposing him to so many interesting and exciting things. You are a very inspiring mommy! :)

Okay, I thought that I had stepping into the hall of mirrors and somehow forgot to check your post for a week or two, but I see they were all done in one day, so I don't feel so out of it!!

can't wait to do the garden thing with Adam. At the moment I am teaching him to water the plants (but he ends up watering his pants and shoes more than anything!)
