Another one bites the dust...
Well, after a lovely day out in Simon's Town with Jake yesterday, "the man" (not Jake, the other one) and I have decided to call it quits. It just wasn't working out as we hoped and he (believe it or not) has a LOT of issues to sort out before he has any hope of "winning" me. So, I'm back to me being single. And, actually, I don't mind the thought of it. I guess I've become so used to being my own person now and I'm so used to having time with Jake on my own and not reporting to anyone else, that adding another member to the equation, just complicates things. I don't think anyone really believes me when I say that I'm happy on my own, but my life is extremely full (bursting actually) and that between my friends and family, I don't have extra time for much else. I like my own company, I adore Jake's. What more do I really need at this stage of life?
